1) First, thoroughly load the applicator brush with up-and-down and twisting motions while it's still in the tube. 2) Once the applicator brush is well-filled with product, press your lashes firmly into the base of the brush for a moment. 3) Then, using a zigzag motion, work from root to tip to create volume and separate your lashes. 4) Apply the mascara once from the underside of your lashes and once from the top. This will make your lashes more curled and create a more intense color result. 5) Repeat this process until you achieve your desired volume and intensity. 6) Using the tip of the brush, apply the mascara to individual lashes in the outer corner of your eye and to your lower lashes. If the mascara smudges in this area due to the thinner, shorter lashes, gently remove any smudges with a dry cotton swab.
